All Horse Bettors Here -- Need Your Experience

Now, when I log into my BookMaker account, I get a little pop up window that says "NO MORE HORSE REBATE". Anybody else getting this?

I am guessing that they no longer see me as recreational, but would like other horse guys on the forum to relate their experiences with BookMaker.

Also, if anyone has been banned from the BookMaker racebook, how much did you win before they showed you the door? Just trying to get a picture of my future there.

Thanks. Any insight from the horse guys who have been at BookMaker or CRIS for longer than I have would be appreciated. I switched to BookMaker when Pinnacle left the US market.

it has been about 2 years since bookmaker(of course then it was betcris) stopped my horse rebates,i got an email from them saying i was not a recreational player and that i could bet as i always do but would not get any more rebates or loyalty points

Not sure they want much horse action anymore. This week they have not posted Horse Matchups. After calling them they said they will not be posting them anymore. It sucks because they were the only one besides Pinny that had them, and BM had them wed-sun.

There goes another cash cow flying away.

Thanks, that makes me feel a little better. Losing the rebate is a disappointment but as long as they don't boot me I can live with it. BookMaker/CRIS has the reputation of taking on all comers, but I guess they are going to stop giving me any extra gravy.

Ouch!! I thought they might be having a week off after the BC. That is terrible news.

Sorry to hear that. I have not done anything with the matchups, but I know labeeb and others have done well with them. Hopefully they won't change anything else.

Not a surprise from this place. People say they are solid, blah, blah, blah, but I swear this place doesn't want horse action. They did the same stuff while operating their US-facing business as CRIS with the matchups. Had them, got whacked, pulled them, brought them back, pulled them again.

To head of guys getting their rebate eliminated comes as no surprise.

WSEX quite often do matchups at the weekend. They are mostly not straightforward one against one. Some are one against two or two against two and sometimes beaten lengths are involved.

Can the TheRX not ask around its contacts to see if some other books are willing to write horse matchups. Some job when you cant have a bet on what you want.

PaddyPower, Ladbrokes, Boylesports, Coral, Bet365, WmHill all offer daily matchups on UK racing. Very poor prices though, -120 each of two. Of course these are not available to US customers but it shows it can be done. Cris were equivalent of -115 each of two which is only marginally better. Shows there are hopeless when they are losing money on this juice.
