LA Dodgers inner turmoil??

I was reading about Torre's hiring and read that one Dodger official said that the turmoil inside the organization last year was as bad as it could be. IS this true? IF so what was going on? Does anyone know? I know Grady Little and he is the nicest calmest man around. All they mentioned was the tension between youth and veterans. Thanks.

They are going to spend to satisfy Torre. They will spend plenty.

Good call...

I know Scott Proctor couldn't have liked the move to hire Joe Torre...his arm will turn into liquid after Torre's gets through another season w/ him.

I don't know any specifics but Jeff Kent really has never showed any true leadership and for him to say what he did was a joke. Gonzo was washed up, or has been since he stopped taking drugs, Ms Hamm is over the hill and Kent is a liabilty defensively. Dodgers future IS Loney, Kemp, Martin and LaRoche. Wish we could trade Kent and move Furcal over to second but that won't happen. AFraud? Damn I hope not. I'd rather trade LaRoche and a prospect for Cabrera of the Marlins. We shall see what happens fellow Dodger fans.

I read a great artical in the LV paper about this, how there is a huge age discrepancy between the rookies and vets and really no one in between.

Dodgers have a fantastic young core and solid pitching, develop the talent and don't chase free agents, and let the old guys go. Ms. Hamm, LOL
