I'm referring to Saskatchewan head coach Kent Austin. The way his team performed in that first half was absolutely pathetic and listless. If these players think they can flick a switch and turn it on next week in the West semi-final playoff game against Calgary, they are sadly mistaken. I'm sure Austin will address that issue at halftime and I wouldn't at all be surprised to see the regulars in action until he's certain they have put in the reputable effort he expects from them as partial preparation for next week. That first half was a total embarrassment to the team itself and also for the fans sitting in the stands supporting them. Pinball and company actually received one of the biggest first half 'gifts' they'll ever receive. On the flipside, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are probably thinking ahead to next week's home game against Montreal, realizing that'll be the scenario unless the Western Roughriders put in a 'proud' and 'worklike' effort in the second half of this game or should I say an 'honest' effort.
