So do you want the 5, or do you think you'll need the 5?

We do this every time the Pats and Colts meet. I'm on the Colts, he's on the Pats.

I think the Colts are going to win SU, but I'll always take the points when they're free.

Why not just bet the game without the points if you think they'll win SU? It's for charity, so ...

... I mean, would you jump for joy if Indy lost by 3?

Because I don't want to start a new thread - FWIW Colts/PATS Prop.

I don't want to hijack the thread but dont'w want to start a separate thread here in the Offshore forum. So here is today's NFL player vs player prop.

NFL GAME PROPS

30-PLAYER TO SCORE A TOUCHDOWN FIRST 11/4/2007 4:15:00 PM (WEEK 9 INDIVIDUAL PROPS)

559 LAURENCE MARONEY (PATRIOTS) +130
560 JOSEPH ADDAI (COLTS) -160
MUST PLAY

I am going to take the plus 130 on Laurence Mulroney to score a touchdown before Joseph Addai does..

This has nothing to do with favortism but is simply taking a better number in a head to head match-up. Shpould neither player score a TD then there is no action.

Maroney has been hurt and missed two full games of late but will definitely be the Pats ground man today plus he is a much better receiver than Addai and is liable to score on a screen or short pass from inside the Red Zone today.

Strictly taking the value of the +30 cents in what IMO has Joseph Addai way to much of a favorite at -160.

Can't argue with you wil, wouldn't be surprised to see Maroney break off a 50 yarder either.
I belive they will be keeping Bob Sanders back from the LOS and in coverage more.
I think all of Brady's playchanging at the line will be called at the line depending on where Sanders is playing.
I also think you'll see check down passes and swing passes to LM too.

We've been doing it this way now for four years.

You can do it any way you want to ... it just doesn't show much confidence.

Wanting (even if its free) 5 points AT HOME is kinda weak for teams that call themselves champions.

Have you even been to Indy or are you just a bandwagon fan, X?

PS: I will be more civil tomorrow after the game ... until then, I am just an obnoxious loud-mouthed Boston fan.

I've was at the Jax@Indy MNF game back in 2000. I've seen them play in three other stadiums as well. Have been a fan since the year Manning was drafted, the first year I started watching the NFL.

Not sure what your point is with all of this. Pat and I have been making this bet - always for charity - since 2003. We've always used the points, no matter who the favourite is. It's our tradition, plain and simple.

My point was the BRING IT shouldn't be a super huge font when you want 5 points.

It should be more of a "I will keep up the tradition if I get 5 points".

... and the most important point is that this is the week that I get on the nerves of every Indy fan I can find.

Cincy, with all due respect, you come into this thread addressed to Pat, with whom I've had a four-years-long wagering tradition, just to stir the pot and try to get under my skin?

Gay.

Patriot, mui congratulations on a well-deserved win ... Brady came through just when you needed him. My local Children's Wish Foundation thanks you in advance for the donation. Should we meet again in the playoffs, I'm up for another go-around.

Have a great Monday!!
