THe two best teams in the league BY FAR and it was a good one. Usually these games are overrated because all that matters is the playoffs but because these teams home field advantage is so huge..this game was crucial. This HF advantage brings me to point #1:

1. Indy defense was spectacular putting pressure all over Brady. What a great job. They can do that on the turf at home but no way on the grass in NewEngland. It will be a big difference. Great job by Indy defense.

2. Indy RB Addai is real real good. You wory about Manning and that RB puts a hole in your defense. It makes Indy a whole lot tougher.

3. When the game was on the line the Pats offense and Brady went right thru the Indy defense. Brady is so cool and it is unfair for other teams to control Brady all day long and still have Mr Clutch and cool and calm at the end waiting to perform. As great as Brady is, he is just as clutch. That is a tough combination to beat.

4. Pats defense can play much better. They got burned all day and it was surprising. They did make the plays at the end which is huge.

I expect the Pats to be better on offense and defense IF the game is in New England next time. Colts and Manning can win anytime and anywhere. Edge to pats but not by much. Also Indy had a few key injuries. What a game!

Colts without 2 recievers and bad special teams play. That was the difference to me.

I think at full strength the Colts are slightly better.

Manning was making money throws, just didnt have the guys to pull them down in the 4th.

Great job on that 4th quarter drive Tom Brady. I still think it is awesome that you have time to post here. You are one of our biggest stars that post. Good luck the rest of the year

Yeah Rob but they had at least two officials to fill in.

For some reason it seem to me that the Colts had the better all around team but couldn't produce without Marvin and had to play too conservative. Welker for NE is their most Valuable player and makes it tuff on any team. Bottom line is...It can go either way if they meet again..didn't see a clear choice of who was the best!

Based on this game, I would agree there was no clear cut winner. I think that is fair. Period. However, the patriots made the plays to win at the end. Also Colts had home field. Indy did have injuries too which must be accounted for.

Yes. This is called 'a fair assessment'. Well done Mr. Brady.

Pat Patriot you could learn from your fellow homer. ;)

The playing surface at Gillette Stadium is "FieldTurf", not grass.

Brady has very good records for games played on the turf.

Not a Pats Fan, But I think you Left out One BIG & MAIN Point.....

You Left out Randy Moss !! Without some of those Catches he made
( the BIG ONE being that One handed catch ) The Pats DON'T Win this One !!!

Right. Moss is a difference maker and his talent is unreal. He was huge and is a big factor for the Patriots.

2 and 4 are related. Addai being able to run allowed the Colts to take their shots deep. Even though there were some bs interference calls on NE, Addai's running allowed that to happen.

Disclaimer: I hate both teams.

Ok. Enough with the injury talk. Every team has injuries. I hate it when people make excuses for losing by saying injuries.

Officials. Quit whining. The Steelers didn't really win the SB. NE got to many penalties. The officials are bought. Quit whining, when those calls go for you there is no complaining.

The fact is Brady made the plays in the clutch and Manning didn't. Manning has a history of underperforming in big games and this is just the latest. He finally won a SB last year but he has many more losses in big games in both college and the pros.

These teams are pretty even and all those homers who said NE would blow them out are just that, homers.

This is one game. NE hasn't won the SB yet and the Colts haven't lost it yet.
