A dumb question about taking money to Vegas

I plan on going to Vegas next week and planning taking somewhere between 6000-10000 for my trip.

I don't want to carry all this cash with me on the flight out there. So what are my options? I'm staying at the Nugget. Will they take a money order, cashiers check? What would be my other options?

Who do you bank with?
Chances are they have a branch in Vegas.
Why take out 10 large if you can get it at the local Vegas branch.
For instance, I bank with Bank of America, they have 3 branches on or near the strip.

Apply for a credit line - then you don't have to carry any cash.
Should take 3-5 days to get approved then you will be all set and if you loose you have 30-45 days to pay.

You can Wire the money there ( to the cage ) and use a Marker for the money you post up.

Thanks for the replies guys. As far as the suggestion below, my bank has no branches outside of the state I live in.

Normally, I wouldn't mind getting a credit line but in this case I'm going out for fun and business, not sure I can guarentee the hotel "X" number of hours on my play.

Line of credit has nothing to do with time played at table..Call the hotel and talk to a host, fill out the Application and like a CC they will give you a amount of cash you can sign for. Simple as that, you then have 30-45 days to pay, if you do not they can deposit your markers against you Banking account
