If this scenario plays out. Not entirely far fetched.

Cincinnatti beats UConn at home
Cincinnatti beats West Virginia at home
Cincinnatti is the Big East's BCS representative.

Arizona St. loses to USC.

With me so far???

Oregon loses to UCLA or its rivalry game to Oregon St.

LSU loses the SEC Championship to Georgia/or Tenn.(who I doubt will make it).

Ohio St. loses to Illinois, or loses to Michigan big, or loses both games.

Missouri beats Kansas in Overtime to end the season. Missouri beats Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game.

and just like that, your National Championship game would be............

MIZZOU VS. KANSAS

how unreal would that be????

no one thing is impossible, but you've listed 90 things which makes your '1 thing' question meaningless and off topic. its a neat way to debate your point, but that question doesnt actually make sense because 1 thing, alone, on that list, doesnt mean squat.

there is not a person alive, that has the money, that wouldnt risk 50K to get 19 cents vs your theory panning out.

make one for hawaii playing uconn in the title game. that would be good times.

you are saying Kansas loses a game late in the year and still plays for the National Championship? no computer poll would allow for that, even if its a loss to Missouri, but fun to dream up wild stuff...

I had a Michigan vs Kansas situation by some super wierd game combos!

It has been a wild year, but not that crazy.

What kind of 'shrooms did it take to induce that natl. title fantasy?

If there are no other one loss teams then yes, a one loss Kansas team would play for the National Championship having lost it's last game and finishing 3rd in it's Conference.

One things for sure, if things play out like this we would finally have a college football playoff sometime soon. Two teams who weren't even top 30 preseason playing for the National Championship. I'm sure that's never happened.
