Also, the Yankees have offered a three year deal, worth 39 million dollars to Mariano Rivera, as reported by Jon Heyman. The Red Sox offer is believed to be a three year deal with an option for a fourth, but nothing has been confirmed otherwise. Calls were put in to both Brian Cashman and Theo Epstein, but were not immediately returned.
