This is why I honestly dont agree with others when they advise you to take a break. Take a break if you are tired of betting but not tired of losing. Winners eventually win.
I had this same talk with SSI a few days as he debated on quitting for a while cause of losing. I was down 13 units on NOV 3rd for this month but since I know over thosands of plays that I hit 54-55% than I concntrated on getting my next 1,000 plays as fast as I could find them. 3 straight winning nites and now I am p for November about 3 total units.
I wouldnt give this advice to most but to a veteran poster/bettor it is a no brainer. Its hard enough to handicap the games dont try and hanidcap yourself and jump in and out of streaks. Streaks come and go and you get hot sitting on the sideline. Some may not agree but I feel stongly about this. Just bet within your bankroll and dont get overly emotional (which isnt easy) over a few bets (good or bad).
Just my 2 cents.
Not only do I agree with this train of though, I will take it one step further (to the point no one else, including Iceman, agrees)
I think that even a bad handicapper on an unusually bad run/cold streak, should stick the course because things will eventually even out. If you are a historical 48% winner (worse than coin-flipping), and you run off 15 losses or 25 out of 30 (something outrageous), I think stick to your guns cause numbers even out in the end.
I do not advise the chase that will throw your entire bankroll away in 2 or 3 plays, but I will suggest if your bankroll can endure more punishment, even upping your $ value sounds okay to me.
Either way, nice job harrington.....(I hope buffalo ends Miami's horrid losing streak)
