John McEnroe on the Senior's Tour

I don't know if any of you watch the senior's tennis tour, but
I find what McEnroe does out there pretty impressive.

He is the oldest player out there at 48. He won the first set
against Courier last night, and almost beat him. Today he
is beating Phillipousis who is 18 years younger than he is.

I used to play lots of tournaments, and was ranked in the
state I grew up in. Tennis is not an old men's sport, and
what McEnroe can do at 48 I find impressive.

If he starts advertising Preparation H and Metamucil I will stop using them just like i did with BIC.

i'm 45 and play atleast 4 times a week.

i have watched quite a bit of the champions tour stuff and mcenroe looks like he could hang against anybody outside the top 15 in the world right now.

i wish i had his net game. it kills me to come to the net more than 10 times a match. long way to run back and forth.

i like to stay on the baseline and wail away.
