... before you cuss me out, think of this:

Brian Billick was an offensive GENIUS when he had Moss ... look at him now

Dante Culpepper was a great QB when he had Moss ... look at him now

Chad Pennigton was a great QB when he was at Marshall with Moss ... look at him now

Tom Brady
was a good QB before he had Moss ... look at all the records he'll break now

Dennis Green was supposed to be a great coach when he had Moss ... look at how he did in Arizona

It can't just be a fluke ... Randy Moss makes every QB and every coach look better than they actually are ... and as soon as they don't have Moss, they don't look that great.

He didn't make one player on the Raiders better. :missingte

Tom Brady won SB rings without Moss. You would have a far better argument with Brady than a punk who got by for eight years on talent alone.

Seems to me Brian Billick won a ring without Moss either.

Most talented WR to ever play in the NFL is Randy Moss.

OMT, Rice is the greatest over achiever we will ever see.
But he cant leap and make rediculous one hand grabs like Moss can.

Oops .. I forgot that one .., good point.

That being said, Billick has shed the "offensive genius" label without Moss ... give me that much.

Why the big statement about the rings? If you watch Moss on the field there is no way you dont come away convinced he is the best ever.

I dont look at trophys and awards. I'm just saying. Who the hell else leaps over two defenders and cuffs the ball in with one hand, you havent seen anything like that before we might never see it again.

Jason Williams was a pretty good point guard because of Moss too. :aktion033

Lets post some other truths about Moss:

He got kicked out of Notre Dame AND Florida St. The FSU part is amazing, they take everyone.

He could have been a top-3 player in the draft because of his past, and pissed off many a GM at the draft by blowing them off.

He only played hard in the past when the play was geared to him.

He has been a model citizen so far in NE. They are winning, but we'll see if theing don't go his way.

IMO T.O. is a better receiver since he blocks.

Rice was an incredibly disciplined player who ran his routes to perfection and had a work ethic most of us wish we had. Fast, good hands. Yes I agree there. Freakish talent like Moss? No way.

Fwiw, I am not a Patriots fan. I root for them to lose every time they play.

Roy Williams basically did the same play yesterday.

I have watched many times Moss just quit on the field if things don't go his way. Shouldn't the best ever have ONE ring at least? Moss needs Brady far more than Brady needing Moss.

Many players who have freakish talent don't work hard at perfecting their craft.

One GM said:

"Once you over-analyze the draft, you're screwed. If you start to look for receivers who block, offensive tackles with 4.4 speed, cornerbacks who can tackle, and QBs who can run ... you will never find the best players."

I agree there. I have seen him in the locker room doing interviews with his shirt off. He doesnt look like the typical NFL player it's obvious he doesnt train on weights or anything of the sort.

How good of a BB player would he have been? He sure seems to have the type of build that lends it's self to that.
