The Celtics are going to cause me to go broke at this rate

Some of my squarest outs are giving me off the wall numbers and I am biting and still getting smoked against them. Grabbed a +8.5 Indiana tonite.

Oh well still been a pretty good hoops season so far but the Celtics by themselves have prevented it from being an awesome start (in the NBA, college has been real good so far, knock on wood, LOL).

I have bet against the socks, celts, and Pats at differnt times this year and lost everytime... I am done betting against them from now on...

I did make some back betting against BC the last few games...

Wow where'd you get +8.5? I had Celts -6.5 -115 but if I saw 8.5 I would've taken the Pacers too.

Not that I have to tell you this, but whatever you do don't start backing them now. You missed the train and their lines will continue to inflate. Soon enough they will be a good fade (VERY soon IMO).

Hopefully really soon as I feel somewhat the same way and couple it with the lines I am getting. Seems to be a great situation for me but so far nothing to show for it but alot of losing bets.

Even the biggest Celtic fan has to be a little surprised on how great of a start this has been for them. I dont think anybody expected this. Not only are they undefeated striaght up but they are also undefeated versus the spread.

Been in that spot 1000 times. Keep fading them or cut your losses? Your call. I say keep taking the good lines -- as long as you are maintaining sound MM you should be able to ride it out and catch a nice streak out of the overinflated lines.

I hear ya. Just venting. I will keep betting against them. Too tell you the truth I hardly pay attention to the names of the teams I bet. It is just about getting great numbers to me and I am sure that the books will keep offering exceptional numbers against them the next few games or at least until they lose.

This is just one (though the biggest one I bet all day) of 38 bets I placed today. I am going to bed, exhausted but cant complain as i am up a little over $800 so far for the nite. :103631605

Getting Great Lines so far....They should be DD point spreads Everytime....
But As long as they keep giving these lines on the Celtics...I'm Betting Them !!

LMAO I had ATL +10 when it closed at 8 I think it was Friday night and they still got smoked. I think they r trying to one up the Pats!

Your getting 1 1/2 points better then the closing line between the spreads of 5-10 in the NBA? You keep betting it until you are broke.I know you know that. :toast:

im not surprised in the least....they have 3 ALL STARS in the starting 5...how hard is that to understand...everyone keeps saying their bench sucks yada yada yada...what people fail to realize is when you got 3 friggen UNSELFISH allstars on the court its tough for the opposing defense is trying to control those 3 guys...the other 2 guys on the court are still PROFESSIONAL athletes and if you give them open looks from 15 feet or easy layups b/c of the double teams etc they are gonna knock them down all night long...the big3 is making the other 2 players better indirectly...even i can shoot the lights out at the gym when just shooting by myself...its not a hard concept to grasp...

I had not been doing this long before I was told one thing you don't do it bet AGAINST a streak. And since this team has added two high quality players to it starting lineup, plus the fact they seem to like each other makes me think there are alot better ways to earn some winners than betting againt Boston.
