what software has recently been installed on my computer? I got to work this morning and all my history was cleared and some of my saved passwords have been deleted. I am wondering if something was installed last night after I left that would have done this. Is there a way to check what software has recently been installed on my computer? Thanks.

Cleared history and saved passwords deleted sounds more like someone did something online(porn, gambling, etc) they didn't want anybody to know about and cleared their tracks.

I just want to see if my employer installed something so they can check to see what is happening on my computer all the time. Is there a way to do that?

Exactly.

If you're on a network, you're employer can see what you do. Fact of life in this day and age. I bring my personal laptop with an aircard to work now so I can stay up on what's going on. Or, I disconnect from the network, pop in my aircard, and use my work laptop off the network. Then I clear the cookies and the history--which sounds like what happened to you--before I reconnect.

If they want to, they can see everything.

Not sure why they would clear out your history or cookies(which are your saved passwords), unless they wanted to track what you're doing from this point forward.

Is there any way to tell if something was installed on my computer so they can track or see what I have been doing?

A company doesn't have to install anything on your computer to track where you go online. If you have a server it could be filtered out of there who goes where online. Monitoring and surveillance programs like SpectorPRO that employers MIGHT use install without leaving entries that can be found in the add/remove programs.
