</td></tr></tbody></table> [FONT=Arial,Helvetica]You've heard about mouse droppings in food bins, spoiled food on buffet tables and roach infestations in our Behind the Kitchen Door series. This time, Patrick Mcmurtry has a special report with what he calls the most disgusting thing he's seen since he's been doing these reports.

Inspectors found a nasty odor in the Aristocrat bar in Huntington. They went back and discovered the disgusting truth, the nasty odor was coming from fluids oozing from the bar owner's legs. Carl Scarberry is the owner of the Aristocrat. The bar remains open despite years of health reports showing the floors were soiled from blood and bodily fluids from leg ulcers.

I finally caught up with Mr. Scarberry. His legs weren't leaking, but they were swollen, red and yellow. The place smelled horrible and we weren't even allowed to go inside.

The last inspection we found showed there was still a foul odor from the exudate draining from Scarberry's legs.

Mills says there is nothing the Cabell County Health Department can do to shut the aristocrat down permanently.

But that doesn't fly with folks who find it hard to believe this kind of is allowed to go on in the 21st century.

But as it stands now, the aristocrat can stay open with the bodily fluids oozing for years to come.

We don't know what exactly Carl Scarberry is suffering from. Cabell County health officials say unless the law is changed, nothing can be done to protect you from places like the Aristocrat bar.

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) ― The owner of a popular Brooklyn Park sports bar is scheduled to appear in Hennepin County District Court this week on charges he assaulted a customer.

Brooklyn Park police said the incident happened last June at Blondie's bar. That's when a customer tried to cancel a food order and got into a dispute with the owner and bar staff. Police said the man had stopped there for a bite to eat between jobs.

"It is not like he was drunk and disorderly. There was a dispute over the time it was going to take for his food. But he decided he didn't want to pay for it and for that he ends up with these types of serious injuries," said acting Brooklyn Park Police Chief Greg Roehl.

Investigators say the owner, Thor Gunderson, even tried to stop the man from calling 911 for help. When police got to the bar, they say they found the customer bleeding and on the ground, restrained by Gunderson and a bouncer.

"At the hospital they determined he had an injury which was to his scrotum and that one of his testicles was actually torn loose," said Roehl.

The incident, and a visit to top police officials from community leader Spike Moss, prompted an investigation which ultimately led to charges against Gunderson and a bouncer.

"This is a serious incident that happened here," said Roehl.

WCCO-TV obtained documents from Brooklyn Park police which confirmed problems aren't unusual at Blondie's. In fact, Roehl noted the bar has the highest number of police calls of any liquor establishment in the city. The reports show 242 police calls so far this year.

WCCO-TV also obtained police squad video of some of the incidents. One video showed a heated confrontation between Gunderson and officers last spring.

Gunderson repeatedly swears, challenging the officers over how they handled the incident.

In another incident, officers report Gunderson "was out of control, flexing his muscles ... yelling and screaming at the officers and suspect."

"Just because you own an establishment doesn't give you carte blanche to do whatever you want to control your customers," said Roehl.

Police also report accusations that Blondie's sometimes mistreats black customers. WCCO-TV checked a years worth of calls to the bar and found some customers said they felt they had been victims of discrimination.

Gunderson declined to comment for this report. His attorney said he will try his case in court, not in the media.

Gunderson's lawyer, Dave Roston, indicated he will have witnesses who give a different version of the bar assault incident than the ones cited to support the felony assault charges.

The trial is scheduled to start Monday morning. Because of the short holiday week, it is expected to be continued to a later date.

The Worst Bar I've ever been in was the 50 Bourbon street in Vancouver's Downtown East Side. In 1993 long before any attempts were made to clean up Vancouver's drug filled ghetto.

Me and my friends used to do a slum run where we would go get wasted in the worst bar we could find...
The Bourbon had Junkies stumbling around, Central American Drug dealers pushing Heroin and Crack Cocaine, astroTurf on the tables and the smell of 1,000,000 pints of beer pissed through some old cheese.

It was the type of place where you would go into the stall even if you were pissing because a junkie might try to steal your wallet while your hands were occupied. I remember the last night we went I was in a stall and a junkie started swinging a syringe under the door..."Give me ya fuckin wallet"
I had to stomp on his arm to get him to drop the needle and them kick the door outwards so i could get the F out of there.

On a positive note the Bourbon sold 50c glasses and $1 pints of beer. So we'd hang out with skateboards in hand and get loaded for $10 each.
I went back a couple month ago after they did some renovations and cleaned up up a little...No one else could smell it but I swear I could smell cheese and piss beer in the air.

That's funny. I've been to Blondie's many a time. They have great burgers there.
