I hate my local

Past few weeks have been playing 80% of my bets with local. Not a big time bettor like some of you, but been winning/losing between 0-$2,000 a week. (probably up a very little amount since football started).

Last week got absolutely smashed....lost $6500!!! As hard as it is to swallow, on Monday, called the runner during halftime(who I'm sure is taking over 80% of the bets) and he sounded like the happiest guy in the world. He answered like he was happy for me saying "Nice Win Today" (week ends sunday, 6500 was final, and had Denver for MNF). The joy was obviously cause he just won $6000+ off of my bad week.

Grrrr....options:

1) Try to bust this guy
2) Go back to online (can get better lines shopping, but payment we know takes longer)

I want to bust him but if I give him more of my money I will puke

find a reduce djuice off shore book and forget him, unless he makes errors then play with him only his small errors (1 point errors)

My local limited me to $200 a game, so I opened a couple of offshore accounts and only use him for better lines.

Just collected 2K from him today and sent half to the Greek so it is much better to have better lines and very nice when you win by a 1/2 or 1 pt because you had the better line.

I had to stop that over 10 years ago when I got stiffed 2 weeks in a row and he went out of business

What's worse getting stiffed, or winning from the offshore and not being able to get it for a long time and then in increments.? I would rather my local try to stiff me, then i would have a recoarse of being ableto see him everyday and being able to bug him and embarass him in front of people.

jj,buster,mikey1time are right ,never let your anger take control over you.you will chase bets and lose everything you have.take a week or two from gambling and recolect your thoughts.i have gotten so mad in the past ive brocken a brand new computer and it didnt make anything better. i wish you the best of luck.

losing $6500 in a week is hardcore. Don't sell yourself short shdw you are in the top 5% on this site as far as bet sizes. That is unless you bet 50 games and lost 45

Anyone that can find one willing to give them credit if they're smart enough. Nothing like trying to send money offshore or waiting a month for a payout and then having a trail for certain agencies to follow. It's hard to beat cash.
