That phone number is NOT Listed on my account. I may have used that phone to call in a few bets in the past though, but not sure how they would have received that number unless they utilize caller ID everytime someone calls. Probably a safe measure to use, but damn!

I was sleeping at the time. It was 9am in the morning! The guy asked me if I wanted to deposit and I said not at this time. Then he questioned my fanhood by inferring that I wasnt going to watch the games. I told him that I had money elsewhere and hung up.

I would have rathered them just call the number on my account next time if they feel the need to call. I always post my real number in my accounts, USE IT!

I dont think that I have ever used that number at any book. Hell, I wasnt even living in this house when i was betting at sexywager.

But I did not know that they were owned by the same people

I don;t like the way this outfit calls you all the time. It's total BS as far as I'm concerned. I would have never signed up if I knew they were going to call so often.

True, I wasnt going to mention that they call my other cell phone quite often. But hey, they do offer some free contests around here! SO they can call on MY CELL PHONE, but not my wifes

They questioned your fanhood? Those are fightin' words.

I think they've been calling me from an 'unavailable' number for several weeks but I refuse to answer. They can just keep calling.

[FONT=&quot]*67 does not work if you are calling a toll-free number, because they are paying for the call. This is called ANI, or automatic number identification. Most credit card companies use this to determine if you are whom you say that you are, there is no way to beat it and prevent your number form being displayed. Unless, of course you are Kevin Mitnick or (another world class hacker), who has claimed to have defeated it. My advice use a payphone.

yes, im pretty sure they keep the numbers you call from, at my old job we would sell minutes for sports hotlines and they would give us their regular phone number for accounts, well, whatever number they actually called the hotline with, we would also call that number for promotions just to make sure we get them. what if you told them to put you on their do not call list, is it the same as telemarketers> ?

They repeatedly call numbers until you pick up.

I always put 000-000-0000 as my number when I sign up at books and if I have to call I go call from a payphone, I'd never let them get my number.

When I first signed up with SBG, they put a hold my account a day after I opened it (after I had already made some wagers) telling me I needed to call and verify my account. During this call (from a payphone) they asked if I had a phone number where they could contact me (I put all zeros when I signed up per usual) and I told them no, I had heard too many horror stories about people getting cold called and I was not going to give them a phone number and if that was a problem then just shut down my account and send me my money back. They backed off and said "no, that's OK" at that point. I urge everyone else to do the same.
