DE - Aaron Kampman. Led league in sacks last year, leads again this year after getting 2 today (and counting).
.
S - Bob Sanders. Top safety in the league...hardest hitter...transforms that Indy Defense when in the game. SB winner.
.
TE - Dallas Clark. He is one of top 3 TEs in league. Led all receivers in last year's playoffs. Tied for league lead in TDs with 6 at TE position and has missed a game this season.
.
K - Nate Kaeding. 9-11 this year, but all pro last season. Only misses on season are a block and 50+. SD offense didn't help out this year for #s.
.
P - Jason Baker. 3rd in net punting yards.
.
LB Chad Greenway leads the league in fumble recoveries.

To even mention Nick Kaeding as an elite kicker is a joke.

Dallas Clark as a top-3 TE is funny also. Kind of like saying Hank and Tommie Aaron combined for 765 HR's.

All this from a program who LOST to Western Michigan last week, then all the Iowa boosters here hide. Also have not been to a Rose Bowl under Kirk Ference. hola

Happy Thanksgiving Day.

LMAO Classic moronic post. I realy love the Chad Greenway one. So he leads the league on falling on a football. So now he is one of the best LB's. All these type of post from You and Dishead just makes you look real stupid.

Please you can do better than this. A kicker and a punter are changing every year for who is the best.

I threw that in last minute cause i just found that out the other day and knew it would fire some of the idiots on this board up. Kampman clearly best DE, Sanders at S, and Dallas Clark is no doubt top 3. I threw the others in because they are solid players...Kaeding all pro last year. Cant dispute the first two though

I hate Iowa but Kaeding is an elite kicker in this league. I have seen him a lot being a Big Ten fan and in San Diego their just not getting the opportunities for him to kick a lot of fgs this year. And I wouldnt knock Dallas Clark either. I know a lot of his production is because of the offense he is in but he is a legit weapon. I dont know if I would put him top 3 but I would certainty make a case for top 5

Good choice and probably the correct one.......however, Kampman would be very close and the choice of many.

Kampman has the most sacks of any player since the 2005 season and he appears to be only getting better and better. The guy is relentless on the defensive side of the ball.

Considering an entire career, check this guy out..........

Mike Goff (79) San Diego Chargers G

He has been one of the better OG in the league for years and years...........and seldom has missed a game. Goff certainly is one of the most underrated players in the entire leauge, much like most very good OL are in this league.

Gallary gets a pass thanks to back injuries.

I know many elite kickers who don't get a chance because of the offense. Janikowski is better for sure and he gets few chances.
