I talk to my bookie this morning and he got murdered yesterday. He lost on all 4 football games yesterday. His total dollar handle went like this.

Green Bay 60%
Dallas 80%
Indy 70%
USC 70%

That was all just straight action too. He said he hasn't even added together all his teasers and parlays into the equation.

All the above and more.

Get to know your local and ask him what he needs - Not only are you distancing yourself from John Q in alot of cases your getting a good number. After delivering envelopes to my BM nearly every week I decided to bet the sides he needed. By no means did I get rich but I finally started receiving envelopes on occaision.

Talk to your square buddies - We joke about it all the time but let's face it some of your friends are walking gold sheets. I have a friend that gave me someting like 85% losers one year and it was documented on this forum. Asking your friends, listening to ex players, family of ex players, and consensus picks are all useful.

Think like a square - If the game looks easy to you your probably on the wrong side. Wayne Root might be the most hated tout but he did introduce me to this logic. Many times I would bet less on a public side that I tried to use my own logic, truth is it should be your biggest.

Pick your spots - Fading every public play is just another recipe to lose. Gather all of the info you can get your hands on and start with one game.

No parlays please - DO NOT try parlaying your pick(s) to shit you know nothing about or something YOU feel strong about.

WARNING - USING THIS LOGIC CAN LEAD TO 0-4 DAYS LIKE YESTERDAY

Look for overwhelming trends to FADE.

Orlando Magic on Wed. were 13-0-2 ATS on the road, but were 6 pt DOGS to San Antonio.

Orlando lost by 18.
