I mean, just give me a taste every 2-5 years, I am sick of it all really.

Doesn't mean much as there are only 5 major sporting cities in my country. Everyone wins something occasionally.

It was a big thrill here in Toronto when the Blue Jays won a couple of championships.

Hard to believe it's been 14 years.

The Argos have won the Grey Cup since then but that's not quite as big a deal to my way of thinking.

If its hockey or football its great. But winning a World Series or a NBA championship doesnt excite me. 75% of NBA fans have a link card in their pocket.

Were you in Chicago for the Bulls run? Dont try telling me that wasnt one of the best times ever to be a Chicago sports fan....

I know I may not get much sympathy but what seems bad is when you have winning teams and then everything dries up and your NFL team leaves. Thank god for the Lakers earlier in the decade and once with the Angels.

I'm in Seattle area and the Hawks aren't what I would consider "winning" consistently but when they had the Super Bowl run a couple years back that was the best shit on the planet. Walked on cloud nine for months. Then after I realized the fix was in I went into a deep depression for months following Super Bowl 40.

Either move or pretend you live elsewhere. It's not going to get any better. This is Cincinatti we're talking about, right?
