I played basketball against Darrell Porter(82 World Series MVP) and Alvin Adams(76 NBA Rookie Of The Year). I played golf against Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Dr. Gil Morgan, and many others who beat my ass. In college, I played pick-up basketball with LeRoy Selmon, Joe Washington, Greg Pruitt, and Tinker Owens.
I have run Track workouts with Carl Lewis, Renaldo Nehemiah, Mary Decker, Denis Mitchell, Carl Everett, Joseph Kipseng, Paul Ehring, Sebastian Coe, Steve Ovett, and countless others.
I have run road workouts with Bill Rodgers, Frank Shorter, Rod Dixon, Alberto Salazar, and Said Aouita. I could go on and on, but most of you guys would not recognize the names although much of the world would.

Robb Thomas, Mike Zandofski, Harold Reynolds (little before my time but have known him all my life). The first two had decent NFL careers, but the best player I've ever played with was John Francis, who played in the NFL during the strike season and then stayed on afterwards with the Rams. I've never seen someone so dominating at the high school level.

man that guy went on a 4 or 5 yr. tear where he was farkin unbeatable. dude had to be cheating with some magic bait spray or some shit. he got into some huge endorsement deals and hasnt done shit in years...reminds me of shawn alexander a little bit..haha
played ajga golf at some time or another against everyone under 35 you see on tv. thats about it.
Actualy there was quite a bit of cheating.
Keep in mind, I was a full ride Nitro Pro, for 4 years.
The "cheating" was sponsers paying guides to pre fish for the pro for weeks in advance. It still goes on today. Van Dam, shows up on Tuesday and meets with 5-6 guides who have been on the water for 2 solid weeks, finding fish and patterns.
