Gambling makes you high, maybe you could try alternative ways to achieve your goal. Like smoking marijuana.

All Big Ten/SEC jokes aside, I feel you bro :toast:

I don't remember what happened first though, being depressed or gambling

What if you went a full week with every pipe you fixed leaking worse than before you started and you had to pay all your customers instead of them paying you?????
I guarantee you there would be some suicidal plumbers running around........

If you are degenerate gambler and everything you care about and need rides on the result of a game, then of course you will get depressed. I used to be like that, for a while but I quit while I was ahead and now it is all about making the Benjamin's. Gambling is no different than running a business to me now, and when I have money on a game I usually don't even watch it. I realized that I can be doing better things with my time than sweating games all night every night. It's gotten to the point where putting money on the line for a game and seeing that I lost the bet has no emotion to me anymore, because I remember I am ahead and will come out a winner in the end. I guess it can also be how you look at betting, but that is just the way it is to me now.
