I like their independance, last cat (Animal) was an outdoor cat... a hunter that would bag like 5 mice a day... and leave them on the porch,for me. He was a stud, but only lived to 5, killed by a car/truck hit. It was like I'm going out, C-ya whenever I get back !
Cooter female about 5 won't leave the house, she's 2 feet from me now on the bed, begging to be pet !
way different cats. Hard not to like Cooter, but I "respected" Animal more, if that makes any sense.
A dog isn't out of the question, but not a cat-dog like a Chihuahua, I'd want a big dog.
