Poll results might be skewed a bit considering the average NBA fan has seen Duncan play 100s of times while seeing Howard five times max.

Have only seen Howard play a handful of times myself.

Really? I think Howard has been around long enough where NBA fans know hes a superstar in the making... I think its just more of the veteran experience out of Duncan that wins in the end over Howard

How would someone that doesn't live in Florida watch him play that much. I'm just saying a lot of people are watching the NBA on ESPN,TNT,ABC or their local station. Howard really isn't featured among those junctures.

Howard much more explosive player. Better defensively and better rebounder. Most of his offense is centered around the basket, is a rebounding machine. 23.8 PPG 15 RPG. Duncan is the wily vet. This is a tough one. Right now I think Howard is a top 5 player in the league. CBS has him ranked 2nd in production behind lebron. 23 and 15 is too impressive not to select.

I guess Howard is a better dunker than TD so Howard must be better - when Duncan has 7 rings he can let Jordan borrow one.

Get back to me when Howard makes everyone around him better and makes everything easier for his teammates. And doesn't turn the ball over way too much. I'll see you in two years.

And better defensively? Being a great off-the-ball shot blocker does not make one a great defender. Just ask Ben Wallace. Duncan is one of the best defenders in the history of the game.

hard to deny 23 PPG and 15 RPG, especially at such a young age. i'd put him in my top 5, in no specific order.

kobe, duncan, howard, lebron, nash

Posting the video wasn't insinuating I thought Howard was better. It is an amazing highlight though. Calm down homer.

I honestly wasn't responding you - I was responding to the question in general - I can't believe they are being compared - Howard is a stud who can dunk the ball, rebound and is physical - DUNCAN IS A TOP 10 OF ALL TIME, A CHAMPION THAT DYNASTY'S ARE BUILT AROUND, A WINNER VETS FLOCK TO PLAY WITH, A COACHES DREAM AND HAS EVERY TRICK IN THE BOOK ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL.

Another thing - Duncan can dominate a game scoring 25 points

I can assure you if TD played for another team and he wanted to lead the league in scoring he would.

Mo - if you start any more polls like this one - we are going to have a problem.

why is that? because people are sensitive today and there are more tears on the face of rx posters than smiles? you make fun of a guy once and he needs therapy.

Jordan took a couple years off and then ran off another 3 in a row!! Who knows how many rings he would have gotten if he didnt leave!!! Comparing Jordan and Duncan is comical!!

I never compared TD to Jordan - only said that someday maybe Duncan will have 6 or 7 rings.
