Since the majority of threads about books these days tend to focus on negative experiences, just wanted to post some good news of how one sponsor book is keeping up the solid work.
I recently entered the $25 NFL pools for week 12 at 5Dimes. I tracked my picks on Sunday prior to the Pats/Eagles game and noticed it was a small pool (4 sheets), but that I was in the lead with picks of Pats and Miami. The next closest to me was 1 behind with the opponent in both games.The afternoon games werent graded yet, but I knew the # and knew where I stood. Anyway..of course I split the last two games and knew I had won.
Checked on Tuesday and the $100 wasnt credited, I checked my rankings and I was listed as second. Evidently 5Dimes didnt credit me with a win in the San Diego game..they correctly graded Baltimore as a loss..but no one got credit for a win on SD. I contacted them and was told it would be looked into..within 3 hours the problem was fixed and my acct credited. No having to post how I was ripped off before action was taken, no having to having to contact someone at therx to look into..just an apology and the error fixed. Its becoming scarcer and scarcer that a book will admit a mistake and fix it in a timely manner these days. Just thought this story warranted sharing. It wasnt a large amt of $$..but the fact they fixed it without excuses or delay shows they remain a top book imho.
