Does anyone know if you have two penalties on any given play (1 offense, 1 defense), do they offset no matter what the charge?

In other words, if the Defense jumps offsides, but the Offense committs a personal foul, do the penalties still offset?

And if this isn't the case, does anyone know which penalties trump other penalties?

offense and defensive penalties always offset during the same play. play never happened and the play is replayed. a dead ball personal foul would not offset though. both penalties have to happen while the play is going on.

say the offense held while the defense commited a 50 yard pass interfence. penalties would offset. a 5 yard penalty could offset a 50+ yard penalty
