loaned my neighbor directv receiver

to watch gb and dallas.he then asked me if he could keep it for sundays games,and of course i said yes.everything went fine til last night,and he startin gettin a 'receiver identifiction problem',,,,call customer sevice message...anybody have this experience,and can directv detect whether that box is in my house or his? wanted to find out before i call.

No, I have 2 other guy my account and one lives quite a bit aways. Im pretty sure they only know where their dishes are. I charge $25 a month for the boxes that I pay $5 for. GL

As long as its not connected to a phone line you should be fine.
