Look at how Stoops voted:

1. Oklahoma
2. Ohio State
3. Missouri
4. Kansas
5. Virginia Tech
6. LSU
7. Southern Cal
8. Georgia

Compare that slanted poll to Mark Richt:

1. Ohio State
2. Georgia
3. LSU
4. Oklahoma
5. Missouri
6. Southern Cal
7. Kansas
8. Virginia Tech

and Les Miles:

1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Georgia
4. Virginia Tech
5. Oklahoma
6. Southern Cal
7. Florida
8. Kansas

LSU #6.

He should be put on probation for that.

completely self serving, all of them. Yet one more reason we need a playoff.

The worst thing is, nothing prevents one of them from leaving another team entirely off. Stoops could have left LSU, UGA, VTU all entirely off his ballot (or any other coach) and seriously skewed the balloting. Suppose he would ultimately get burned in subsequent polls, but nothing would prevent that.

Bobby Mizzou 5th, OU 7th

and Mike Bellotti, OU 8th, Mizzou 5th

Hal Mumme voted Hawaii #1. That confirms he ain't a rocket scientist.

Maybe Stoops feels the Big 12 is the best conference. At least he voted Oh ST #2.

Hmmmm: Tedford and Doba didn't have an agenda putting USC #2.

Repect the hell out of Mike Riley for putting them down where they belonged

Ha....That means that Hawaii's own coach didn't even vote them #1

June Jones didn't have a vote. Jesus, Chris Peterson has Boise 14th. Woah, Schnellenberger has Boise 10th, even Jake Thompson wouldn't do that.

Any coach that thinks for one second va tech would even last a half vs so cal has no business voting.

That game would be a complete rout.

Same regarding a kansas vs so cal game.

i have more respect for hawaii #1 then i do putting VT ahead of LSU in ANY poll....at least if you vote Hawaii #1 you can say hey, they did what no other team could do...you CANNOT put VT ahead of LSU when both have 2 losses and head2head the score read 48-7

I like how Richt voted. Ohio State was the only 1 loss n cotention. he then voted his team out of the other at larges with 2 losses. I think that is stand-up.
