This game smelled very fishy to me. Line was USC - 19.5 down to 19. Game never went to 20. Usc dominated whole game but all they scored was 24 points? 24 points is nothing in college FB. Is UCLA's defense that good. USC should have scored way more points except the didn't try. Ucla had turnover after turnover and all USC did is run the ball & punt. Plus Ucla put up 7 points at the end of the 1st half with 40 seconds to go. A long Kickoff return than a 9 yard TD pass. I'm very suspicious of those 7 points. Maybe USC let them score, knowing they had the game well in hand. Sure enough USC didn't even try and score in the second half. The 7 points they got were because UCLA gave USC a do over on 3rd & Goal from the 4 after a holding penalty. Plus another instance late in the game with USC up by 17 Ucla had 2nd & 10 from their own 2 yard line. What happens, with UCLA in jepordy of giving up a safety for a push, USC ruffs the passer on a running play? When's the last time a quaterback was ruffed on a running play up the middle. He wasn't even the runner, all he did was hand off the ball. Again my opinion is USC may have taken UCLA with the bookies. Sorry Guys wrong forum. Mods please move to main forum.
