the whole "blueprint" thing was ridiculous....one person said it, then a million copycats said it.

just because a team gets played close doesn't mean a damn thing except they're human. If it was that easy, they would have lost by now.

I agree.

BLUEPRINTS are always available to coaches ... they come on individual plays ... a team might have been blown out 38-7, but they might have defended the 4 receiver set well ... or they may have shown how to defend their 2-tight end set ... for coaches, blueprints can be found in plays .. for reporters, they are found in games.

If they want to find a BLUEPRINT, find one to defend Vrabel on the goal-line ... Baltimore just did it by putting Ed Reed on him.

I don't know about blueprint but this game is similar to the Philly game. Run the football and hit Brady. Brady doesn't like contact and is afraid to run the ball.

The NE defense is vulnerable. All the weeks leading up to the Philly game the offense had such a huge lead they just had to sit back and defend the pass.

there is no blueprint...im gonna tell you whats going on...

THESE ARE PROFESSIONAL ATHELETES and believe it or not the talent discrepency is not as big as it seems (or has seemed for the 1st 10weeks of the year) so these teams philly/balt have heard all week how they cant compete and they come out super fired up....the pats are taking these teams BEST shots every week now and they will get pitts next week...its not easy to continue to take the opposing teams Agame every 7days....

Decent ball control game that Balt is playing, and that's what it takes to keep NE under control.

It doesn't hurt when you can run down their throats to open the second half.

Lot of time left, but this team looks sharp. There is a CHANCE

And the excuses begin. There may not be a "blueprint" but there certainly is a "game plan". So teams only get fired up to play NE? You don't think Indy being defending champs gets everyones best shot? The fact is that you can run on NE as well as pass on them. Their defense has had the benefit of the offense giving them large leads to hide behind. NE may still win this game by 20 but without a big lead they ain't so hot.

By the way, Brady is scared to get hit.

NE is beating themselves by trying that clown offense. They have believed their greatness and think that they do not need a running game. This isn't Texas Tech or Hawaii versus whatsamatta U. Until they reestablish running the ball, they will be a sideshow and not worthy of anything.

As I type that they run a screen to a RUNNING BACK. The missing link, aka, Lawrence Maroney. At least they are getting his importance now.

EXCUSES????

LOSERS make excuses
LOSERS whine

The Pats just win ... no excuses, no losses

If you guys can talk smack when the Pats are down 7 and the game in doubt, what should Pats fans do when they kill teams by 31?

followed by another great post. new england is trying to rack up yards and TDs for brady but they arent establishing any sort of run. you can get away with it against most teams. but not at the pro level all season. good post doberman.

True, but this is because thePats do not have the smashmouth RB and really miss Dillon. Maroney and Faulk are good but not that type of back. This is an important point. The RB's right now is not the type or as good as needed. I agree.

Part of it is bitterness as a Maroney fantasy owner. Part of it is recognizing the Pats cockiness. You see where they start going when it gets crunch time, but they've completely ignored the running game.
Granted, the best thing to happen to them would be a loss as they would regain their focus and stop worrying about records and greatness.

Easy dude. They are trying to win a game and nothing more. That is all coach B does and focuses on. Take a deep breath.

They keep telling him to hit the hole and get 4 yards when they need 4 yards ... and he always dances behind the line of scrimmage looking for a long run ... McGahee has the same problem ... except tonight the asshole's hitting the hole hard ...
