I dont blame him at all. That ref needs to be fucking fired ASAP. No way you can call that defensive holding on 4th down. Thats just like at the end of a NBA game and you blow the whistle as time expried. You just dont fucking do it. Let the players decide the game. NOT THE FUCKING ZEBRAS!!

I would have done the same thing. Dont be surprised if that ref ends up dead after tonight.

The Pats had plenty of chances to keep their undefeated season alive. Why give them more chances with a chepa holding call on 4th down where they call it maybe a quarter of the time?

That type of behavior may be justified in the sandlot championship game...not in the NFL.

It hurt his team.

Figurs had a good night returning kicks and did not get the chance on that last one.

If it's a clear hold fine, but at the end of the game it's almost like the officials were looking for something to call. At least call holding on the reciever being thrown to. They make that call down near the goaline maybe 2 out of 10 times.

Note: Coaching was a huge factor in Baltimore losing the lead as well.

I'm not a genius when it comes to football, but what is so bad about calling a timeout on 4th and 1? If the pats made it that play but then missed it the next everyone would say Billick was a genius. Am I wrong, or is everyone being shortsighted?

The Ravens also lose this game because Ed Reed fumbles that INT for their NFL leading 20th fumble...would have had it around the NE 35 with time left. They also lose because Boller throws a pick when they are about to go up two scores on 'em in the 4th quarter.

Sure Billick messed up on that last drive...but those things allowed for that last drive to be significant.

I thought it was a BS call. If refs always called that kind of hold, they would have to throw a flag every single play cause that is how often it occurs.

No fuckin replays anywhere...not even on Sportscenter nothing. I cant fuckin believe this penalty has been shoved under a rug.
