Thats true, but they have barely covered two ridicullous spreads in a row now so I dont think it will necessarilly be more. maybe a touch more.

Of course it will also depend upon what happens in the next couple of games until then.

The Pats have definitely lost their edge. Who knows how it happens, but it does. The '84 Redskins were beasts, winning their first playoff game 51-7 over the Rams. They were untouchable. The next week they barely get by the 49ers on a questionable call in the endzone. Two weeks later, crushed in the SB by the Raiders.

Like I said, it happens. Maybe they can turn it around and be the team they were earlier.
