Peterson if he can stay injury free. Minnesota would also need to use him more as a passing option, like SD does with LT.

peterson just can't ever stay healthy for a full year, but damn thats the best back ive seen since tomlinson and barry sanders. id proably go with peterson even though he never completes a full year and probably never will.

Got to give LT the slightest edge, as he's the more complete back - much better receiver out of the backfield.

This is LT's 7th season.

He has 107 starts...missed one start in 7 years.

Will be interesting to see how durable Peterson is... at this point in his 7th year in the league.

Who knows...next year at this time, Peterson's name could be replaced with McFadden's in the "Johnny-Come" lately league of who's 2nd best.

not many johnny-come latelys have the record for ypc in an nfl season after 13 weeks.

mcfadden is legit, so im not sure what you're getting at. he'll likely be one of the top 3 or 4 backs in the nfl next year.

I agree on McFadden...he could be the 1st pick in the draft...but the Dolphins have Ronnie Brown, so who knows.

But I do not think Peterson is a durable RB. Time will tell, but lets see what kind of numbers he has in his 7th year in the league.

Peterson is having a heck of a rookie year. Would be something if MIN can land that last wild card spot in the NFC.

my uncle coaches with the vikes, so im pretty excited about the team right now. i hope that they can make it, they've played dallas and gb each tough this season. they are a long shot, but if jackson can continue to improve, they may make some noise.

And already hurt. He has missed more time than Walter Payton and LT already.

AP offensive line is ridicules. Chester Taylor had 241 yards and 4 td’s in the 2 games AP missed. That’s say a lot… AP been hurt all through college and now in his first year in NFL.

LT for me….

Remeber Edge led the league in rushing his 1st 2 seasons. I thought AP was the best player coming into the Draft, but can he stay healthy and will he hold onto the ball.

AP is a great player, but you can't compare 10 weeks to LT. LT is a 1st ballot HOF already. Also, what hurts AP's case is that CT came in and did the samething.

There have been many pretenders who have tried to remove LT from the top, but none have succeed.

Personally, I thought LT would be a bust when he was drafted, I may have been slightly wrong!
