huge computer problem

Having the biggest debacle of a computer problem ever. I have 4 monitors on my desktop. I unplugged one(the one where the destop is set to) and plugged it into my laptop the other night to make sure that worked fine, I then plugged it right back into the desktop and everythign was fine.

I then go to my gfs so I take that monitor to use with my laptop, I get back to my house and plug that monitor in and nothing will come up on that screen besides the searching for signal or whatever. My middle 2 monitors work fine, but my far left monitors settings are off too. I tried to plug an older monitor in to the main slot as well but nothing.

I have this cuz my aim auto starts and it pops IE up on the 2nd monitor. I try to hit right click/properties so I can go to the display settings but it wont let me, I guess its popping up over on the monitor with the desktop. I have successfully started Stars by hitting the windows button and keying a few down and hitting enter and stars popped up, but I cannot figure out how to get to display settings. I have also dragged an icon by mousing over there and trying to luckbox into grabbing the settings box so the stuff is over there, just the monitor will not come up.

video card got fried?

if the video card did go bad.. I would go get a new one, install it and then what, would the desktop pop up fine then on that monitor or would I still need to screw with the settings(which I can't get to)

I restarted and went into settings and switched to PCI instead of PEG, this got all 4 monitors up, I then switched back to PEG and all 4 monitors are still fine, the only problem is I can't get my far left monitor to go into proper resolution
