I think not.
Its starting to get hard to watch.
He should have retired when they won the title 2 years ago.

(PS what is getting hard? lol)

Well im a big LSU guy, and I can still remember his glory days as a 17year old at LSU. Its hard to imagine that this is the same player.

I wish he would have hung it up after the title. Perfect way to end a career.

I started a thread about that 2 years ago.
You could see the beginning of the end even then.

Shaq 2 years ago reminded me of John Elway when he won the SuperBowl at the end of his career. Not nearly the player that he use to be, but still good enough to ride the shoulders of Terrell Davis. Wade was Shaqs Terrell Davis. Now he is so far gone there is no hope.

I knew along time ago that shaq would not age well. He never developed much basketball skill over his career. His entire career has been power and physical force with almost no skill. Once a person with no skill loses there athletic ability, you have nothing left to hang your hat on anymore.

I remember Shaq when he was at LSU also.....when he was a senior in high school....that was when I first started following college basketball (before that i only saw NBA or Hawaii rainbow basketball)....

....breaking glass backboards were so cool back then....

Looking at the list of centers - Shaq is still a top 5 - he still commands a double team - I don't consider Stoudamire a center - he's really a SF/PF - but to wash this - I consider Duncan a center - so here's the top 5 in no order - man, there is no good centers and it's the most important spot - but scorers at the SG/SF seem to go on forever.

Yao
Howard
Duncan
Gasol
Shaq

Then there's Okafor where I really don't know where to rate - but I would still rather have Shaq.

I think Tyson Chandler is better at this point.
