I know there are guys on the board who love this guy. I don't get it. I can't listen to him for more than an hour.

First of all, today, he's having a gayfest for Tom Brady.

Secondly, he repeats the same things 19 times during his show. He's mentioned how cool Tom Brady is 3 times already and he hasn't been on the air for an hour yet.

Sorry....I just don't get it.

I like him very much, but I am also someone who likes off topic thrreads in here. He is 70/30 sports vs. entertainment..... Reminds me of Kornheiser a lot in the way he runs his show.

I listened to him the day after Sean Taylor got shot but before he died. He was basically blaming Sean Taylor for his lifestyle and past for the reason he got shot. It made me sick and that was even before we found out how he was murdered. I haven't listened to him since so I don't know if he apoligized or anything but he was way over the line and I am done listening to his garbage.

I hate Colin Cowherd....but I listen to him on an almost daily basis....

Kind of like Heroes....the show sucks now but I keep watching cause I was baited from the start.

That fish guy is hilarious though....degenerate gambler...i bet he has been on the rx before

he's way better than mike and mike. Talk about saying the same thing over and over. I realize most people only listen to these shows for minutes at a time but for the people that do listen all day its really annoying to hear the same interview 3 times.

I liked it on Thursday how at the end of his show he talked about simplifying your life. Basically don't try to keep up with the Joneses and work a ton of hours to pay for crap that doesn't matter anyway

Taskes him 15 minutes to make a 30 second point. I like spanning the globe and the Monday's with the NFL live guys, and that is it!

He's an entertainer. I think he does a good job. I don't listen to him much anymore, but the guy is talented.

Doesn't mattter--what we think of him. The network hires him for a reason. Just like a Rush Limbaugh.
Loud and controversial will allways bring some audience---forget about the facts!

uhhh that was the reason for him getting shot....it sucks but its the truth

Cowherd is excellent....he and Eric Kusilias (I know I butchered the spelling) are two very intelligent sports talk hosts. It's hard to believe that the same network that has those two guys (although Kusilias is now part time and fill in) has Mike and Mike. Mike and Mike are literally unlistenable. If you need a morning sports talk fix, find Steve Czaban on Fox Sports Radio. He runs a very gambling-friendly show.

Cowherd did apologize for the Sean Taylor reaction earlier this week. Very rare that someone does that, but I'm glad he mentioned it.

When I can't hear Cowherd live, I jump on the computer and try to catch what I missed later that day. His shows are very interesting and topical. Like Kornheiser, he's a bit of an acquired taste.

Radio hosts do repeat topics throughout the day. The average radio listener is only on for 18 minutes, so most radio hosts (see Rome, Jim) tend to be very repetitive.

he could very easily downgrade to a hr show with basically 3 segments that keep getting repeated for the whole show. Tired of him and his use of the phrase " By the Way " every other sentence.

I like listening to his NFL picks. He used to broadcast from Vegas so he has a good feel for what the bettors are going to do and goes the opposite way. I like listening to him for a while, but now that I got Sirius radio I listen to Stern and the NFL network a lot more.

If he actually wagers on football...he got his ass kicked today in the NFL.

Cowherd has repeatedly said on his show that IF you bet every dog on the board each Sunday you would make a killing...maybe on some Sundays...not today.
