In October I found a live mouse in my glove compartment. The little rodent scared the shit out of me when I opened the GC one day to put something inside and he/she leaped out and ran under the passenger seat. I opened all the doors and it vanished but not before it ate part of the car's registration paper and half of my proof of insurance paper that I keep in the GC.

Here's what you need to do. Buy the traps that have a spring loaded door.
They are pretty good. You put peanut butter in the center. The mouse walks in but he doesn't come out.
