Exactly.. All the people at my pad watching the fight were telling me Mayweather wasn't good and Hatton was controlling the fight..
I asked them have they seen him fight before and they said no. Thats all I needed to know. Mayweather's defensive skills are among the best of all time.. He is extremely hard to hit.

I don't doubt your opinion at all...I respect it. I have no opinion on boxing, as I don't watch the sport.
Just on pure observation, whenever a big marquee boxing match is hyped...I usually see threads like this...and my buddies usually say the same (boring fight, etc).
I'm a MMA fan...and last night they had a great show. I'm just surprised at the # of casual boxing fans haven't fully transitioned to MMA.

The only two boxers I still watch are Hatton and Mayweather - I completely switched over to MMA over the years - and it's not that I hate boxing - boxing has been dead for at least 3 years - after last night - it's officially dead for me - what am I going to miss - Jermaine Taylor? - the only fight left remotely worth seeing is Mayweather/Coto - and I already know the result - all these boxing hsitorians need to wake up too - Mayweather is a top 30 fighter of all time - the dude is awesome - somebody shoot me if I order another fight - now, can Fedor/Randy somehow happen? - I don't want MMA to have the same problems that plague boxing - like Hatton fighting Mayweather 3 years late - officially, done with boxing though
Funny how wrong people are. Boxing is plenty alive and there has been a lot of good matchups this year. Why do you think all those brits came over here? remember, boxing is a world sport. Casual fans are just to stupid to know the difference between hyping a big fight and 2 fighters that are actually action fighters.
