Question about BetUS.com and payouts

So I haven't gambled in a very long time (pretty much a year before Pinnacle quit taking US customers), and now that I finally decided to get back into the game I ended up giving BetUS.com a try.

I made a couple of small deposits and busted out, and on my third try I made an OK score and decided to quit while I was ahead and cash out.

The first thing I noticed is that their payout fees are ridiculously steep for a Moneygram, but I decided to go that route anyways as that was how I deposited. The second thing I noticed is they state it can take 7-10 days to receive a payout.

I know things are tough with the crackdown on offshore sportsbooks, but is 7-10 days now an acceptable time to receive a payout? I remember getting paid by Pinny, 5Dimes, Olympic, and even Bodog the same day. Also, has anyone ever had a problem getting paid from them? Just the manner in which they stalled me on the phone when requesting a payout made me a bit nervous. Anyways, any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Just do a search on Betus here-it isn't a pretty story. 7-10 days is not that bad in today's environment. If you get it 7-10, you should be thrilled.

Damn, I am honestly starting to feel sick to my stomach already. It is only a $1000 payout, and the threads I just read seem to state for the most part they only hassle large players. I used to play large in the past but not now, so I'm hoping I don't have an issue.

I used to mainly post at MW and saw them listed on top, so I figured they were OK. I hope this is the case...

Don't lose any sleep over it. At least it's only 1k(under their "sharp" radar). That's much better than hearing that it's 10.

Is that the main issue with them, paying out sharp players? I wasn't a sharp player even when I was betting large. I'm just not very keen on losing any money at the moment. I remember your name from my days posting at MW, and I always thought MW was picky about posting scam books on top of their forum.

Problems there seem to come up with larger payouts. I wouldn't worry about 1k.

Between us & the MW guys, I'd pretty much guarantee that you'll get paid. I can't imagine that they want a big stink over what is considered small money-as long as you weren't playing games with bonuses\multiple accounts\etc.

FWIW, I wouldn't play there. There are just too many other books with a lot fewer black eyes.

Thanks man, I appreciate the help. No, I played straight up with them, and even turned down the bonus because I didn't want to wait 30 days for a payout. They covered my Moneygram fees and that was it. I've been out of the game for a while and haven't kept up with who is legitimate and who is not.

I think I'll go back to 5Dimes after this. I noticed they still take US players and I never had a problem with them.

Just out of curiosity, who would you recommend as a good book that takes US customers and pays on time?

It really depends on what you're looking for. 5D is a great choice-they throw the book at you as far as options. Betonline is a reduced juice joint that I like, but they are kinda thin if you're into props or soccer. BetJ is also a good one to have.

I guess the story is to not put all your eggs in one basket-that -105 or extra 1/2 point that you'll find will pay off if you spread it around.

Matchbook is another good out, but it has a little learning curve if your not used to the exchange thing.

betjamaica is my number 1 choice

. This new xxxx-xxxx allows you to easily request a withdrawal from you account to the Transfer Card. With your BetJamaica Transfer Card you to withdraw up to $2,500 per day from your local ATM machine or debit card merchant for a low fee of $3.00 per transaction.

that is good enough for me

I am new here and have won on betus need help

Hi I have deposited just over 3,000 on betus and have a balance of over 6300. I have read many posts on this site about betus and am now in fear I will not get paid.

Do I have any chance at all getting my money back...any ideas? I see that they have paid some people on here so how do they choose to pay...is 6 grand a lot of money to them or not?

Should I withdrawl in smaller amounts?

Any help is appreciated thank you.

I have stopped using them because their withdraw fees are bullshit. It took about 4 weeks to get my money. They should be sending checks out overnight for the price that they charge.
