What was the highlight for you in 2007 personally and gambling wise

Now that the year is coming to an end what would you say looking back was the best thing about 2007 for you personally and gambling wise?

For me personally I bought a dream type home, though expensive for me it is something I am very proud of and happy to come home to every night.

Gambling wise I have to say I have had a consistent year (up 300 units) but the most important thing to me is my passion for it is still as high as it was 1 year ago and with all the changes this past year in the gambling world I never lost any interest in it. Not one particular thing sticks out but thru every season of sports I like the daily challenge of betting more than ever. Hope to take it too another level in 2008.

Gambling wise winning 70+ units in baseball, however I have lost 50 units in football/basketball...

Having my father live one more year(almost 88). My gambling has been a career, so the seasons all blend in together.

Getting into good shape, losing 45 pounds in the process was the highlight of my year. I am almost in as good of shape as when I was in high school. Not cut or anything but I can run up to around 8 miles.

Highlight of my gambling year has been the whole thing. After coming off my first losing year last year I came back as well as ever. :drink:

personally: being the first one in line outside JJs window to get bubble gum

gambling: betting boston at home every week, and just about losing every other wager in the nba to break even.. i hate the nba

Dsethi...know what you mean, before getting into the offshore business, I can remember sitting in a sportsbook with four of my friends and pooling our money together to make a thirty dollar parlay...this was back in 1979..and I used to play 10 cent craps in Reno...times have sure changed! Now I don't blink an eye betting 1000 a game....it still hurts when I lose, but it hurt worse back in the good ole days...I guess it's all relative, but you remember more when you couldn't rub 2 nickels together...:lol:
