I am looking for someone with experience in arbitrage betting in Sporting Events.

I am looking to invest 15k of money into doing this a(about 80% of my money) and could use any help at all.

Not even sure if 15k is enough to make a decent profit.

Any help would be appricated.

you can reach me at xxxx or reply to this message

whats your reasoning for that?

I have seen a few already just searching by myself were i could get a 2-3% profit.

I found one book that usually has a NO JUICE line which i can easily hedge on any major site.

anyway any other useful advice out there/

The problem is the moving of money. I have did it in the past but nowadays is just way to hard to move money in this enviroment. It used to be a few clicks and away you go now it is standing in Western Union lines.

If and when Pinny comes back and there is a Neteller type company out there than yes but till than now worth the time and effort.

You should probably focus on trading/live betting at Betfair, Matchbook and others.

There is still money there, just not like it used to be. More hassles now but still worth it if you do it in your spare time. Would not even try to do this for a living.

If you want to make decent money you'll most likely have to take positions and therefore not truly arbitraging.

Matt,
Do you do well with this? Thanks.

I'm a total amateur at this stuff. I know that a ton of Europeans are able to make a living off of Betfair trading, and I can see how you could make a killing with a proper bankroll (which I don't have), but it's a pretty involved process. Myself, I only do it when I played a NFL side at Matchbook, and the game happens to have live betting available, and the girlfriend doesn't have a program coming up on HGTV. Lots of panicked bettors are always trying to get out of their position, even at a big loss, immediately after their team gets scored on.

Thanks for the reply. I've fooled around with it, as well. Always nice when you can lock up a profit on both sides of a game, etc. But, plenty of losses, as well. CBB and NFL both present some nice opportunities. GL.

Just stay with the bad line and you will have alot less hassle and your dollar per bet (ROI) will be better in the longrun. Just stay disciplined and use a good money managment system. No reason to play back at the sharp books as you will end up losing in the longrun to them, why give them the money.

Far too time consuming for the profit. What I do is pick one event which I will trade all week as a bonus on the side but any more than that is a waste. :drink:

Dayjobpoker: I've forwarded two email addresses to you from posters ... could you confirm for me, please, that you received them?

Cheers!
