ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- In a poll conducted Monday, Dec. 10, Channel 2 News asked which GOP presidential candidate Alaskan Republicans plan to support in the Super Tuesday caucus.
A slim majority of respondents support Ron Paul, a Texas congressman known for wanting to abolish the IRS and opposing the Iraq War.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who's surging in national polls as well as Iowa caucus polls, came in a close second.

Tiz posted this poll and I assumed it was scientific. Them I see KTUU.com reference in Nimue's thread starter and I decide to go check it out.

Surprise, surprise, surprise

KTUU Channel 2's "Unscientific" Poll Shows Ron Paul The Number One Choice Of Alaska Republicans And Other Supporters

http://alaskapride.blogspot.com/2007/12/ktuu-channel-2s-unscientific-poll-shows.html

"All polls conducted by Channel 2 News and KTUU.com are unscientific."

by Ron Paul standards in non-scientific polls, these results horrible

In the modern era, the deals will be brokered before the convention.

I heard Romney hired Scott Boras to represent him.

i don't really understand how this is "unscientific" in comparison to the "Scientific" polls

granted i don't know the details but from this article it says

they called alaskan republicans (i'm assuming they were registered republican since they state republican) asked them a question of

Which Republican presidential candidate will you support in Alaska's caucus?

now you can say they aren't going through the whole ordeal of finding "likely republican caucus goers" and maybe that's why its considered "unscientific"

but i think its safe to say those that respond ron paul in phone polls are more likely than the other candidates to actually show up caucus night
