It is not something I crave -- not sure of its addictive nature. It's kind of like weed without the anxiety/paranoia. For me it just makes me feel really really relaxed. Mix it with a few drinks and it is quite fun -- puts me in a loopy yet relaxed state. Slap happy is the term I think.
Also good for long flights, as a hangover cure, and to aid in coming down off other drugs (eases the transition).
My brother takes Xanax,he abuses them; he walks around like a fucking zombie all day and when he mixes booze with them he becomes a fuckin drooling carrott.. Can't stand to be around him when he's that way..Talks all slow...eye's half shut.... I won't touch xanax, very addictive...
For some people it is very addictive, for most others it is not. It's in the middle of the road as far as addiction propensity. I hear ya though, people who over-do it on zannies are a pain in the ass, you can't understand a damn thing they say and it takes all their energy to keep their eyes open. However, it's a great drug if you can keep it in check. Absolutely crushes your memory though, friggin amnesia pills.
