Juan Gonzalez was pretty much named in their as well but his entourage took the blame for him. So you can add him to the list.

The mediocrity of talent level of so many of these players leads me to believe that steroids is not nearly as big of an advantage as many people claim. Therefore, in my opinion, there should be no asterisks.

As matter of fact, screw the hall of fame. If somebody as deserving as Pete Rose isn't a member, it pretty much doesn't matter anyway.

Agree about the HOF. Who cares anymore.

But regarding your first statement "roids is not nearly as big of an advantage," I disagree.

You have some names here who became fringe players MLB players. Without the roids, these guy would never have stepped between the lines of a MLB ballpark.. They would have been career Triple A or even Double A journeymen at best.

Bonds...check
Palmeiro...check
McGwire....check
Sosa.....uhhhhhhhhhh.

Do we owe Sosa an apology. Either Sammy is a very intelligent and discreet steriods user, or he was clean.

Everyone always assumed that Sammy was one of the users with all the home runs and him getting big and all, but there was never really the evidence like with the others.

So does the single season HR record read like this?
1. Bonds 73*
2. McGwire 70*
3. Sosa 66
4. Maris 61

What's sad is that fans will say enough is enough, and blah, blah, blah. People will still continue to buy tickets and nothing will change. Doesn't matter what sport it is, people will keep watching.

Sosa wasn't NAMED, but he is sure as shit one of the main offenders...his face and the run away zits at 30 years old tell it all.

Are they your personal butt buddies? Why would you take it personally whether they were on the list or not?

I clearly qualified the list I published earlier in the day by saying that I couldn't be 100% sure if the list was accurate. If you look over the list I posted, it's pretty damn close.

Now you can go back to staring at your Cubbies posters on your dorm walls.

So what if they were not on the list. Either was Sosa. If anyone thinks these are the only one's in BBall to use steroids your living in a fantasy world. THese names are just the ones they caught. Tip of the iceberg and there is a hell of a lot more ice under the water we haven't and probably will never see.

76 guys listed here...this is the definitive list

It is not a definitive list, it is the list of players that were listed in the report.

As I posted in the other thread:

you have to consider where they get their information. If you notice, most of the guys were at one time affiliated with NYY or NYM (both of their clubhouse guys were in deep shit), BALCO or the lab in Florida. Anderson, Sosa, McGwire, Poo Holes and many others weren't involved with NYY, NYM, Balco or weren't dumb enough to pay the Florida lab with checks or have it send shit to the clubhouse. For the most part, the names in there are affiliated with one of those four entities. That doesn't vindicate anyone or make it bogus.
