Gentlemen,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I have given great thought on this unfortunate situation and regardless of win or loss my only intention is to do the right thing. The account holder violated the specific Bet Jamaica nickel limits / no dupes by placing multiple nickel tickets. This was recently discovered when a winning ticket was flagged for time check. The account was audited and discovered other violations had also recently occurred. The balance correction was made with both refunds and forfeitures.

However despite the pop-up limit message there are a couple of valid points to also be considered to be completely fair.

1.) The account did have an opportunity to lose the wagers.
2.) The bets were placed on correct odds.
3.) Some people that I do respect also felt since the horse software didn’t block duplicate tickets that the pop-up limit message should have been more detailed.

For security purposes I have a couple of remaining questions to ask the account holder. I have emailed the account holder to contact me today so that we may resolve and conclude this situation by honoring the duplicate nickel horse ticket in question.

Thank you all for your assistance and feed back and support in discussing this situation.

Please feel free to contact me personally at anytime.

It is sad when bettors try to take advantage of a super book.

absolutely on point.

bet jamaica is one of the few books who truly conduct their business the RIGHT way.

its too bad that some guys have to circumvent to the rules to make a buck when bet jamaica has proven they will honor everything within their limits.

Not fair to say they caved. They stood back, took a considered look at all of the facts and the whole situation and made a fair decision given all of those facts. Props to JM for being able to re-assess a situation when a lot of books in many situations are unable to ever admit an error and change their way of thinking at all. It shows a modicum of enlightenment to be able to admit error and change course. It's not something we're very used to in the U.S. in the last 7 years (sorry, I couldn't help myself).

Scotty, good move. There is a reason you have a great reputation and run one of the best books in the world. It is noticed and respected. Bet Jamaica and The Greek are the books you want to be at. Period. Nice work again in a difficult situation for all. You again show why you are top shelf.

Good move ! I only made one post on this ( EOG). I had to conclude JAM was within their rights for canceling the second ticket, with that pop-up.

I got the pop-up deal once myself ( years ago) for correlated parlays. At that point you really have to call Scotty, and work things out. Then the pop-up gets removed. More books should have this, for when a bet gets voided, etc.

Clearly a top five book, or higher.

For the record

I appreciate Scotty taking the time to post this here at The Rx.com. I already commented earlier in the long thread on the matter and placed of copy of his message in my post.

Today is day one of the two day Rx.com Costa Rica Bash and there is a lot going on but I want to say thanks to Scotty for keeping the posters here at The Rx.com up to date on what is happening in this unfortunate incident.

I am leaving now for the Bash reception which is on the complete other side of a big city from where I live.

Thanks, wil..

agree with you teaze...nothing like leaving one of your buddies to answer the phones on a slow day and come back to find out your resident degenerate has taken advantage of the situation and bet dimes instead of dlls just to take a shot...

i know this was money already in account but not much difference
