he didn't have to authorize this report. i think he is a stand-up guy for realizing that he made a mistake of turning a blind eye for so long. he' trying to do something about it. The new drug testing he has in place is a great start. Much better than it was. They do need blood tests however. He implemented the Wild Card which I love and inter-league play is awesome. I think he's doing the best he can.
I have a problem with calling a guy who more than tripled revenue in a so called dying sport a joke...
I don't like him but he has made baseball more prosperous than any commish has done for a sport, outside of maybe Tagliabue.
Ticket sales have sky rocketed and TV-ratings have gone way up.

He has brought a lot of revolutionary things to the game. His problem is that he is a horrific public speaker and doesn't face adversity very well. He never knows whether to take the politically correct side or the side he feels is right and that gets him in trouble. Honestly, although I hate to admit this, steroids saved baseball. If they get rid of them the fans will still be there but steroids brought them back.
