Now I know I will get SH*t from All the Red Sox Fans, But Doesn't This Look a little Fishy ???

We know that the Report is from Past and Present Players...Some of these Players haven't Played in Years....

But from the List that was Released...THEIR IS NOT ONE BOSTON RED SOX PLAYER ???????????????

Even with Clemens.... it Only says that When he was With the Blue Jays and Yankees.....

There is NO,Nobody,Anyone, PAST...Present......From the Red Sox ??

And Because of the Statement Below

Mitchell is a director of the Boston Red Sox, and some questioned whether that created a conflict, especially because none of their prime players were in the report.
"Judge me by my work," Mitchell said. "You will not find any evidence of bias, special treatment, for the Red Sox or anyone else. That had no effect on this investigation or this report, none whatsoever."

So Can Anyone Tell me How that is Possible ???
I Don't want to Hear that NO Red Sox Player....Past or Present NEVER Juiced Up..... Because that would be BS

Plenty of past Red Sox players were named. plenty. Not big names for the most part but there was plenty of players that were here one time or another. The guy answered this question and has a lot of integrity to say the least. He is very respected and successful amongst the highest level of attorneys and government workers. You think he got to where he is by playing favorites and lying? Did you hear him talk and answer this question? No way is he covering up for anyone. My opinion.

lets see, bud selig side steps his way to having this red sox ownership group get the team. then they have someone who is on the red sox board of directors run this report, then not one red sox from the championship teams is named (gagne was with dodgers when named in report).

i'm sorry, but there is a lack of credibility IMO. whether or not its true, you can see why people would question it.

I can definitely see the lack of credibility from several areas. I can also see why people question this too. I do not think he is covering up for the Red Sox for the reasons above.

there are only 2 sources cited in the whole thing...no credible reporter would go to print with it.

thats also a good point. for a comprehensive report on what mitchell describes as a 20 year period, two guys from one city as sources doesn't cut it.

Guys...how come only small percentage understand this...the whole report/term paper is based on two testimonies...both were from New York...coincidentally, by someone facing jail time.

Thats all the $20+ mill report was based on...its silly, when you think of the hype/cost.

If they had people from LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, etc...there would be more...thats all....but no former trainers/club house attendees were facing jail time.

It is what it is...its a silly term paper.

Mitchel had no subpoena power. I don't know how he got anybody to talk about anything in the 1st place. Esp Giambi.

I think the report is just an attempt to clear candyass Selig (and baseball) in the eyes of history and to keep congress from taking anti trust action against them.

At the end of the day, the lame report is factually way short IMO and it will be business as usual.

HGH will rule the day for some time now. It's good for the player's pockets and it's good for baseball's pockets.

What we need..........

is some quality deaths!!

I don't know........

A guy a little long in the tooth, late in his career, flips out and kills his family with his bare hands and then kills himself :103631605

Anything like that happened in the last year or so?

To be fair Mitchell was the same guy that helped broker the Ireland/Northern Ireland Peace deal...He was offered a gig on the supreme court...I doubt he would risk his rep over a few baseball players...

Bottom line its baseballs fault. They knew it was going on and condoned it.Its a black eye on baseball period. You can't blame guys for using the juice or they would lose their jobs that someone was on the juice.

The only way that Bonds and Clemens NOT go into the HOF is if they (bases) don't do everything they can to prevent it going forward.
It was the steroid era.Every roster had juiced players on their roster.
Both should go into HOF,and I can't stand either one of them.

Why do you need more sources - this isn't he said - she said bs - the guy has personal checks - end of discussion.

There are way more people doing roids than were mentioned. Almost Everyone mentioned was what everyone knew anyway. The guy had not leverage at all. The resisted him in a big way and could get away with it. This entire thing is a joke.

For $20+ million in cost...and the hype...there best be more than two sources.

Club house attendants are also 'gofers'...they receive checks all the time from players...anywhere from post season bonus money, to getting dinner, picking up dry cleaning, etc. Obviously, Rudomski did more...thats not arguable...but definitely can be used as a defense.

This shouldn't be getting as much play...as it basically just puts everyone's assumptions in term paper form.

If you're gonna do this...do this right...work w/ congress, get subpoena power, gather evidence, dish out the punishment, & ultimately fire the persons responsible for this era (ie: Selig, Fehr, etc).

Its a silly term paper...an attempt for Selig to save face...it is what it is.

The whole investigation is a joke - 20 million to inform the average Joe that alot of athletes use steroids - regardless, the findings are accurate - they're just are incomplete - the only thing I have determined from all of this is that the negative effects of steroids are grossly overated - all these players - all these years - and virtually no consequences - makes me want to cycle up
