Backtracking over 200 plays this trend is almost 64%.

Now im not big into systems, but I love this one because it makes sense.
2ndhalf lines are made up with a sheet based on original spread and what the halftime score is. So you can come up with little trends that can help make money.

I bet there are a few sharp people at this forum who are already using this trend. Here it is:

When a fav of 7 points or more for the 1sthalf(Not the game line) is losing by 10 points or more at halftime, and the 2nd half line would make them lose the game by 2 points or less, take the dog.

Its very simple.

If the Spurs are 7 point 1st half fav against the Knicks, and the Knicks are leading by 10 points at halftime, if the Spurs are -8 or more take the Knicks.

Try it out. Your going to love it.

You will find at least 5 or 6 of these a week. About 1 a day.

Yeah except a 7 pt fav in the first half, down by 10 or more at the break and with a line that has them losing by 2 happens what, once every year or am I reading something wrong?

Its not exactly 10. Its 10 or more.
And its not exactly losing by 2. Its 2 or less.

When I posted that only your first post was there, I find it strange that you would see this happening that often.....Its like the Utah game (1st half spread of 7 exactly).

Anyway if it is happening that often, cool, I dont really have much time to look at stuff like that but hey :)

Believe me it happens alot.

a 7 point or more fav for the 1st half line, losing by 10 or more at halftime. and the 2nd half line where they have to come within 2 points or less.

Here are the contenders for tonight.

Seattle and Memphis.

If either of those 2 teams have a 10 point lead at the half and the 2nd half line fits the system its a play.

wait...within two points or less...so if they are up by 20 at half and the favorite is -10 for second half....u would still be taking the dog right?

No.

That would not fit the system.

2 things have to happen for it to be a play.

the 7point or more 1sthalf fav has to be losing outright by 10 points or more, and the 2nd half line has to be close enough to where the fav has to be within 2 point of winning the game.

Seattle is +7 for the 1st half tonight against UTAH.

Lets say Seattle is leading by 10 points at halftime.

The 2nd half line comes out and its UTAH -8, bringing it to within 2 points of an outright win.

Thats when you play Seattle.

Now if a game is real close to falling into the system.

Say Seattle is up 9,or the spread bring UTAH to +3 for the game. I will also make a play. It just wont be as strong.

I always prefer to look at the team getting points in H2. I often find the dog winning H2, and by a lot. I wish there were ML's for it, like Pinny once had ( occasionally).

I bet more overs in H2 because I'm afraid of OT, so an under has to be a game with little chance of OT ( a blowout).

I think there is great potential betting those in progress quarters, but it takes up a lot of time.

I'll try to look at this angle.

This system always takes the dog 100% of the time.

something like this is great for me because I am a total NBA idiot.

This has nothing to do with knowledge of the NBA. You can be a total NBA idiot and play this system.
All you have to do is look at the numbers.

System play alert.

Seattle is leading Utah by 6 points late 1st quarter of the 1st quarter.

If they have a 10 point lead or more at half time, and the 2nd half line makes UTAH have to get within 2 or less this is a play.

If its 10 or more its a big play.

If its 8 or 9 its a small play.
