I know the limits would be lower with small market games.. But let's use a regular season NFL game as an example..

Whats the most you could bet on a single game?

Right now, you can get 60k at once on tonight's game at Pinny. That has to rank near the top...

pinny is down to taking $250 on CBB 1H totals. pussies.

Good evening Roach, how are you. :103631605 Youve highlighted something people seem to ignore, in the larger picture Books like Pinny who get untold accolades have very restrictive limits which contributes to their overall profit, just like I've posted in my college BB thread. At the top end Books will lay you Maximum X chance EG bet, Me shagging Brad Pitt. $1000 Max plus 1Mill/1 :drink:

I would like to hear your thoughts on this concerning offshore and live in vegas.
How much could I (nobody square) bet at the highest limit book (Caesers, Bellagio, etc) in Vegas?

I remember some guy in Vegas putting up over $1M on the 49ers ML over the Chargers in the SB in 1995. Caesars I believe it was, they did a whole story about it and showed his betting tickets.

It was another casino owner that layed that and won.

Forget what casino took the action but said casino advertised they would take any size bet.

When he went to collect,he brought his sercurity people and wheeled out the cash.

Ah, ok. Did he literally take it in cash? Thought winning wagers that large had to be paid via a casino cashier's check for 1099 IRS purposes?

Bob Stupak bet the Bengals+7 against the 49ers for $1M.(laid 5% vig only: $1,050,000/1M). He still owned Vegas World then I think. Prior arrangement for lower vig and free pr for both. Forget which book he be it with but he won as 49ers only won 20-17 on Taylor's last minute TD catch.
A whale who bets millions at the tables could get whatever they wanted on a football bet just to keep him happy but, otherwise, Vegas books are tighter than a nun's c..t any more.

Well they were 19 point favorites, but I forget the exact ML price.. something like 10 to 1.

Nah they were not even double digit point favorites, think even less than 6.

I know I lost my money but back then wasn't much, but what a drive Joe put together to win that game hitting Taylor in the endzone to win yet another ring.

That was the drive when during a time out,Montana turned to Harris Barton who was always Mr. intense;and said "hey look Harris theres John Candy row 3 see him?.............LOL

The oldtimers would take as much as you would want to give them during the good old days in Vegas...Guys like Bob Martin, Gene Mayday, and Bill Dark...Today's atmosphere if you bet over 3000 in Las Vegas on a game, you have to sign some documents...the only way you will get a large bet down in Vegas, is if you are a major casino player wanting to bet a sporting event like the Super Bowl or a major prize fight...

The offshore industry will take just about anything you want to bet, as long as it is with the major books such as Pinny, CRIS, Olympic, or GRANDE...each book has it's own limits, if you want more just ask....most of the time you will get it....some books lay off down here, so again if you are a good credit player you can get down fairly easy...if you are post-up, you can probably get down for your balance if you ask...each book has it's own set of rules and you can find them on the website of each....now I'm talking about straight plays and most parlays....teasers and props are a different story, it varies from book to book....the same with halftimes and quarters of the major sports.....that is why having multiple outs is a must....this is just my opinon...

I was responding to JustWin's question about the odds on the 49ers ML against the Chargers in the 1995 SB where they were 19 pt favorites. That is when this other $1M wager was placed, separate from the 49ers-Cincy SB years prior.

Nah, they were favored by 17 points or more. And I'm pretty sure they covered.
