I just made a 4 team 12 point teaser. Is this really a sucker play?

I have never done this before, but on the surface it seems too easy.

Football - 256 New Orleans Saints +8½ for Game
Football - 261 Buffalo Bills +17½ for Game
Football - 265 Jacksonville Jaguars +15 for Game
Football - 268 New England Patriots -8½ for Game



This bet has amost no wasted numbers except for 2 wasted points on the pats game.

Do we sometimes automatically write some of these plays off as sucker without really looking into them?

Not always a sucker play, but by no means a gimmee. This is the NFL, and it's especially late in the season to boot. Teams have different motivations at this point in the season.

What do you feel about the overall taking of 4 team 12team parley from a smart gambling perspective?
Do you automatically chalk these up as sucker plays? Or do you see where these could be used if done corectly.

3 team 10 point teaser better play imho, is that 2 points that valuable to risk a 4th game?

I haven't played teaser since that book that we all loved did away with them.
