So my friend is correct ? Without that channel, you can't watch the NFL playoffs ?

Do most people have NFL network ?

No all are on free tv or cable, NFL network has 2-3 more games this year, Thursday Saturday only

Current TV contacts dont run out until after the 2011 season,, Come 2012 who knows could see the SB on the NFL Network this way the NFL can keep all the ad money themselfs rather then have the networks cash in on it.

Many expect the NFL Network to expand to about a 20 game regular season TV schedule in 2012, Probably every Thursday night and some Saturday games.

Here is the current contract deals, I think CBS,FOX and NBC each get to broadcast the SB 2 times each during this 6 year agreement

That sucks how there's a 2 week wait for the super bowl. They should do it the week after the afc/nfc championship games.

Even the Pats/NYG game is only going to be on NFL network ( at least in my area).

Congress won't permit all the NFL games to be placed on cable. The Superbowl will never be PPV even though the NFL could make a billion or more by doing it.
